ThisNext, a network of social shopping websites for women, including ThisNext.com, StyleHive.com and MyStyleDiary.com, announced it has added funding, formed a new advisory board and announced a partnership with Federated Media, a media and publishing company.
According to ThisNext, the moves are part of the company's plans to grow its business as a top network of social shopping sites for women. ThisNext, the parent company, now operates ThisNext.com, StyleHive.com and MyStyleDiary.com, established social shopping sites that together influence purchase decisions for millions of women every month. The product catalog across all three sites provides a breadth of peer recommendations and editorial content in fashion, beauty, home design and lifestyle - the full Houston-Texans range of categories that dominate the women's shopping world.

Enthusiasm over the company's mission and vision under new leadership has resulted in new investment from individuals including Gary Winnick, Chairman of Pacific Capital Group; and Bob Pittman, Founding Member of Pilot Group, former COO of AOL and AOL Time Warner and former CEO and Founder of MTV Networks; as well as follow- on funding from Stan Shuman, Managing Director of Allen & Company and Clearstone Venture Partners and Anthem Venture Partners.
