The awards, hosted by Business to Business and Catalyst magazines, honor the entrepreneurial spirit of some of the metro Atlanta area's most successful companies during 2006.

Acadia has acquired four psychiatric facilities: Acadia Vermillion Hospital, a 60-bed, freestanding behavioral healthcare facility in Lafayette, La.; Acadia Pathways Hospital, a 76-bed, freestanding hospital in Longview, Texas, that treats geriatric, adult, children and adolescents suffering from psychiatric illness and chemical dependency; Acadia Montana, a 60-bed residential treatment facility in Butte for emotionally disturbed children and adolescents ages 5-18; and Acadia Hawaii in Hilo, a 35-bed, private, adolescent residential treatment center serving troubled teenagers ages 11-18 years old with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities from all over the Hawaiian Islands.
Acadia also plans to double its size within the next year.
