Why buy? The company was launched in 1998 to create beautiful handbags for women who either couldn't afford led light accessories designer labels or who didn't want to buy into thewhole "It bag'' culture, with prices at around the pounds 100- pounds 175 mark. The same ethos is applied to its luggage ranges, with wheeled suitcases between pounds 100 and pounds 200, wheeled holdalls between pounds 120 and pounds 150, and duffle bags for around pounds 100.
We love The gorgeous leather holdalls, especially the Harlequin,pictured right, a
38-litre bag in vintage-style textured leather; the T-Stitch range, made of waterproof nylon with leather trim; and the interiors of the suitcases, which feature lots of compartments, shoe and laundry bags and leather hand-grips. The two London shopsare also particularly inviting,with duck-egg exteriors andbright interiors.
Could do better I'm
embroidered patches not keen on the Scottie dog emblem that hangs from every item (although it's easily removed), and some of the luggage is rather too obviously aimed at women.
Verdict Extremely well made and good value.
