wholesale colthingPeggy Jo Stewart, 76, passed away peacefully on Jan. 3rd, 2010. She was born August 27, 1933 in Delight, Arkansas, to William and Edna Edge. Peggy and her family moved to the area in 1942.
Later in life met her husband James Stewart. They were married May, 18th 1953 in Tieton, WA, and they were married for 56 years. Peggy enjoyed her life as a wife and mother. After the birth of her 4 children she went to work in the warehouse industry. As a family they did a lot of camping and fishing. Peggy always put her family first. In 1979, when the kids were grown, they moved to White Swan. Peggy enjoyed crocheting. She was always making something for everyone, especially those house shoes. She was a woman who had a way with words. She spent a lot of time writing poems; she also enjoyed cooking, puzzle replica rolex books and telling some hilarious jokes. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, granny, and great granny and friend. She will be truly missed and never forgotten.
She is survived by husband James (Jim) Stewart; daughters Paula Stewart and Lynn Harris (husband Rick) and Maurene Stewart; grandchildren James Harris (Heather), Derrick Harris, Megan Whiley (Jason) and Daniell Mayer; 2 great-grandchildren, Caleb and Hope; and her sister Betty Thornton.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Edna Edge, sons James Terry and Randy Stewart, and her sister, Olemae Pumphery, and brother, Farmer Edge.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors, with concluding services following at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. An online guestbook may be signed at .
